Sener Aerospace & Defence is currently looking for a RF laboratory test engineer to join our team at our Cerdanyola (Barcelona) work center. We are hiring engineers for the RF/EMC/Electronics test laboratory in the MAIT Area (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test). 

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working with cutting-edge technology to validate and qualify space-grade equipment for satellite missions.

What you will do:

The main duties and responsabilities will be:

• Operate and enjoy state-of-the-art RF laboratory equipment ranging from DC up to 67 GHz (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.).
• Design and define test benches, equipment, and software to verify product requirements through automated test systems.
• Perform functional and performance testing on satellite payload components such as Radiometers, Transceivers, LNAs, Receivers, Downconverters, Local Oscillators, DC/DC Converters, and more.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including test plans, procedures, logbooks, and reports.
• Actively participate in customer meetings such as Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), and Test Review Boards (TRB).
• Collaborate in the investigation and resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Share knowledge within the test team and contribute to the continuous improvement of the test area.

What we expect from you:

• Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering degree or master's degree
• Al least 8 years of experience in the position offered.
• Previous experience testing LNAs and SSPAs at high frequencies.
• Programming skills in Python for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Test Reporting.
• Knowledge of EMC testing procedures and standards.
• High level of English.
