Business Development of Avionics and GNC systems

To further strengthen our strategic presence in this domain, we are looking for a Business Development professional to join our team at the Tres Cantos work center, contributing directly to the growth of our avionics and GNC/AOCS activities.
Mission
In this role, you will be responsible for consolidating Sener’s position as a key player in ESA and EC institutional programmes related to avionics, GNC, and AOCS subsystems, covering a wide range of mission scenarios including LEO/MEO/GEO platforms, exploration missions, planetary defence, science payloads, space transportation and navigation systems. You will actively drive the expansion of Sener’s product portfolio by identifying and pursuing opportunities within ESA and EC technology development programmes such as Horizon Europe, GSTP, ARTES, NAVISP and FLPP, while promoting Sener’s capabilities across the European space sector.
You will also enhance customer awareness of Sener’s technical strengths, proposing tailored solutions aligned with program objectives and customer needs. A core objective of the role is to achieve a high success rate in proposals addressed to ESA and major satellite manufacturers, contributing to a sustainable annual revenue portfolio of approximately €5M in the avionics and GNC/AOCS domain.
What you will do:
Strengthen Sener’s strategic positioning in ESA and EC institutional programmes related to avionics, GNC and AOCS systems, including Science, Earth Observation, Exploration, Telecommunications, Navigation and Space Transportation.
Monitor market trends, customer needs, emerging technologies, and competitor evolution within the space sector.
Identify, qualify, and pursue business opportunities from early-stage detection through contract award.
Promote and lead long-term commercial partnerships with key customers and suppliers.
Contribute to the definition of technology and product development roadmaps aligned with future market needs.
Support satellite system-level opportunities from the perspective of avionics and GNC/AOCS subsystems.
Provide technical and commercial support to customers within ESA and EC programmes, including Science, Earth Observation, Exploration, Space Transportation, Telecommunications and Navigation, ensuring alignment with programmatic, technical and contractual requirements.
Interface with and coordinate engineering and program management teams in the preparation of technical, managerial and commercial proposals, in compliance with ESA procurement rules, EC calls and institutional evaluation criteria.
Lead new technology developments within Sener’s strategic lines under institutional programmes such as Horizon Europe, ARTES, FLPP, NAVISP, and GSTP.
Contribute to internal R&D activities, supporting the development of innovative technologies and products aligned with future space market trends.
Maintain up-to-date internal databases related to customers, opportunities, and commercial activities.

Technical expertise inGNC/AOCS subsystem and avionics system, RF equipment, and communication systems.
Deep understanding of ESA and EC programs, as well as their procurement and contractual processes.
Experience in preparing and managing proposals for institutional entities (ESA, EC, national programs, and research grants).
Knowledge of offer management optimization through data-driven analysis.
Ability to develop market projections and research roadmaps in the telecommunications domain
