Sener is currently looking for a Manufacturing Inspector to join our team at our work centers in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, or Bilbao.

Furthermore, we are involved in the design, development and construction of power plants and their components, covering from the most conventional technologies such as combined cycle, biomass, etc. to new renewable and future technologies such as offshore wind, green hydrogen, management, circular economy and sustainability.

What you will do:

• Review technical specifications, drawings, procedures and standard required in the project.

• Monitor project inspection activities.

• Interface with Owner and Class pertaining to quality related issues and technical clarifications or queries.

• Welding certificate (IWE, IWT or IWS according to IIW), and NDT certificate for UT and MT minimum (level II according to ISO 9712).

• Check compliance with drawings of welding geometry, welding bevels tolerances, welding configuration, applicable welding procedures, etc.

• Visual inspection according to applicable standards and quality level (ISO 5817, others).

• Check the scope of NDT applicable and that the NDT procedures are approved and available in the work area.

• Visual inspection according to applicable standards and quality level.

• Additional inspections if necessary (thickness, adherence, etc.).

• Reports of defects and quality incidents related with handling and storage.

• Control of repairing works according to applicable documentation.

• Make/review a record of defects and repairs and their final result.

• Coatings Inspector certified level CIP2, or Senior Certified Coatings Inspector (NACE/SSPC/AMPP), Frosio level 2 or ACQPA-FROSIO / FROSIO Red Card certified.

• Construction onshore and offshore hook-up experience is required on platform, topsides, structure, piping and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as EN and ISO.

• Comprehensive knowledge in coating, painting, passivation, insulation and cathodic protection.

• International certificates in wielding and coting inspections (NDT, FROSIO or equivalents).

• Excellent written and oral English communication skill.

• Willingness to travel internationally.
