Senior Systems Engineer for Aerial Vehicles

Sener is currently looking for a Systems Engineer to support the conception, development and integration of aerial vehicles and airborne systems to join our team at our Tres Cantos work center.
We are a pioneering engineering company in the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In defence, we design and produce equipment and systems, including unmanned systems. The candidate will contribute to system architecture definition, requirements management and integration activities, playing a key role in the development of new aerial platforms and associated mission systems within national and international cooperation frameworks.
What you will do:
Definition and management of system requirements.
Development of system architectures and interfaces.
Functional analysis and system decomposition.
Requirements verification and validation activities.
Support to integration and qualification campaigns.
Preparation of engineering and certification documentation.
Participation in technical trade-off analyses.
Coordination with specialists from structures, avionics, communications, GNC and mission systems.
System Integration Support
Systems selection.
Definition of electrical and functional interfaces.
Definition of integration, verification and testing activities.
Ground and flight test support.
Support safety assessment and certification activities.
What we expect from you:
Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering.
Good knowledge of aircraft systems and mission systems.
Experience in requirements engineering and systems architecture.
Knowledge of integration, verification and validation processes.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) would be an asset.
Knowledge of certification processes is valued.
Experience in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS/UAV) is an asset.
Capacity to understand new concepts and apply them to engineering problems.
Advanced MS Office.
IBM DOORS, Polarion or equivalent requirements management tools.
Knowledge of Capella, Cameo, Enterprise Architect or MBSE tools would be an asset.
Knowledge of SEE-XP, CATIA or similar engineering tools would be valued.
