Sener is currently looking for an Aircraft CAD Design Engineer to support the conceptual, preliminary and detailed design of aerial vehicles and airborne systems to join our team at our Tres Cantos work center.

We are a pioneering engineering company in the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In defence, we design and produce equipment and systems, including unmanned systems. The candidate will participate in the development of aircraft configurations and installations, producing engineering models and technical documentation in coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

What you will do:

• Development of 3D models and engineering drawings.

• Airframe and equipment installation design.

• Support conceptual and preliminary aircraft design activities.

• Structural layout definition and packaging studies.

• Integration of airborne systems and equipment.

• Management of CAD product structures and technical documentation.

• Support manufacturing, assembly and integration activities.

• Support engineering trade-offs and configuration management processes.

• Engineering Coordination:

• Concurrent engineering with system engineers and technical specialists.

• Support certification and verification activities.

• Preparation of technical documentation and design reports.

What we expect from you:

• Experience in aerospace mechanical design and CAD modelling.

• Good understanding of aircraft structures and installations.

• Knowledge of aircraft configuration design principles.

• Experience producing engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.

• Knowledge of systems installation constraints (electrical, avionics, propulsion, mission systems) is valued.

• Knowledge of composite structures is an asset.

• Experience in UAS/UAV development is an asset.

• Ability to work in multidisciplinary engineering environments.

• CATIA V5/V6.

• Siemens NX or equivalent CAD tools would be an asset.

• PLM tools (3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter or equivalent).

• Advanced MS Office.
