At SENER we know that, with the right people on board, everything is possible. Currently, we are looking for a Configurations Coordinator to join our team downtown. Hybrid role. This is a new role.
The Configuration Coordinator supports railway infrastructure projects by organizing and maintaining project information, contract documentation, and design records throughout the project lifecycle. This entry-level role is ideal for a highly organized individual starting a career in engineering project coordination, information management, or transportation infrastructure. You will learn configuration management principles, rail project workflows, and change control processes while working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Change Management Support:
·Assist with logging, tracking, and documenting Change Requests (CRs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
·Help prepare materials for change review meetings and record decisions.
·Maintain accurate records of project changes and updates.
Data & Information Management:
·Support the maintenance of databases and repositories containing project configuration data.
·Generate simple reports and summaries for internal teams and external stakeholders.
·Help ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
Collaboration & Support:
·Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate information flow.
·Support project managers, engineers, planners, and other technical staff.
·Participate in training to develop understanding of configuration management practices.
Preferred (Not Required):
·Familiarity with engineering drawings or technical documentation.
·Exposure to rail, transit, transportation, or infrastructure projects through coursework or internships.
·Basic knowledge of project management or configuration management concepts.
· Experience using any document management system (e.g., Aconex, ProjectWise) is an asset but not required training will be provided.

Required Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Information Management, Project Management, or a related field (new graduates welcome).
·Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
·Ability to learn technical concepts, project workflows, and documentation standards.
·Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
·Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment
·Some Rail experience is an asset but not mandatory
·Must be living in the Toronto area to be considered
