We are looking for a Senior Telecom Engineer to join our Rail & Metro team in the UAE, where you'll play a key role in designing and coordinating advanced railway telecommunications systems for major infrastructure projects.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Lead the design and technical delivery of railway telecommunications systems across concept, preliminary, detailed, and IFC design stages.
Develop and review telecommunications system designs, technical specifications, reports, calculations, drawings, equipment schedules, and design documentation.
Design and coordinate systems including Fibre Optic Backbone, Structured Cabling, IP/MPLS, Transmission Networks, CCTV, Public Address, Passenger Information Systems, Access Control, Radio Communications, Telephony, Intercom, Master Clock, and other railway communication systems.
Develop and review telecommunications system architectures, network diagrams, equipment layouts, and system interfaces.
Coordinate telecommunications designs with Signaling, Train Control, Cybersecurity, SCADA, Power, MEP, Civil, Track, Architecture, and other disciplines.
Define and coordinate telecommunications interfaces to ensure compatibility between railway systems and third-party systems.
Lead multidisciplinary design reviews, technical workshops, interface coordination, constructability reviews, and value engineering activities.
Review technical proposals, design submissions, engineering documentation, and supplier information.
Prepare technical responses to design queries, RFIs, and multidisciplinary coordination issues.
Review telecommunications equipment installation requirements and supplier documentation to ensure alignment with approved designs.
Provide technical support during systems installation, integration, testing, and commissioning where required.
Ensure telecommunications designs comply with client requirements, project specifications, railway standards, and Sener quality procedures.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to telecommunications engineers.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related discipline.
12–13 years of overall engineering experience.
Minimum 10 years of mandatory Rail & Metro experience.
Proven experience in the design and delivery of telecommunication systems for Rail & Metro projects.
Strong knowledge of railway telecommunication architectures, networks, systems integration, and multidisciplinary design coordination.
Extensive experience with Fibre Optic Backbone, Structured Cabling, IP/MPLS, Transmission, CCTV, Public Address, Passenger Information Systems, Access Control, Radio Communication, Telephony, Intercom, Master Clock, and operational communications systems.
Experience coordinating telecommunications designs with Signaling, Train Control, SCADA, Cybersecurity, Power, MEP, Civil, Track, and other railway systems.
Experience developing and reviewing technical specifications, system architectures, network diagrams, drawings, calculations, equipment schedules, and design documentation.
Strong understanding of railway telecommunication standards and applicable international standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant telecommunication/network design tools.
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with international engineering consultancies.
Experience working with railway system integrators or major rail contractors.
Experience in highly automated railway environments and integrated transportation systems.
Familiarity with GCC and UAE project requirements.
Experience with BIM and digital engineering platforms.
Experience supporting systems installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and technical verification.
