We are currently looking for Civil Engineer to join our team, site in Sines.

What you will do:
Perform and/or review basic and detailed engineering designs in DC’s, including:
- Earthworks, grading, platforms, and slopes.
- Surface and underground drainage systems.
- Foundations of equipments
- Conduits for power, ICT, lighting, security and control cables.
- Internal and perimeter access roads, and pavements.
- Retaining walls, perimeter fencing, and physical security systems.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications for materials, equipment, subcontractor selection, and execution of civil works.
- Prepare and review construction drawings, calculation reports, measurements, and budgets.
- Ensure the correct integration of civil designs with the requirements of rest of disciplines.
- Participate in the technical evaluation of bids from civil works contractors.
- Supervise the on-site execution of civil works, ensuring compliance with designs, technical specifications, deadlines, and quality and safety standards.
- Manage the technical interface with civil contractors, quality control laboratories, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve technical problems and non-conformities that arise during the construction phase.
- Review and approve material testing and quality control protocols (concrete, steel, soil compaction, etc.).
- Collaborate in carrying out feasibility studies, geotechnical, topographical, and hydrological studies.
- Participate in the preparation of technical documentation necessary for obtaining construction licenses and permits.
What we expect from you:
- Education: University Degree in Civil Engineering. A Master's degree or specialization in Structural Engineering, Geotechnics, or Construction Project Management will be positively valued.
- Minimum of 7 years of demonstrable experience in the design and/or supervision of civil works, preferably in industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Specific experience in DC projects will be highly valued.
- Excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills in the civil field.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team (especially with electrical and mechanical engineers).
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports.
- Task and project management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Languages: B2/C1 English proficiency. English will be the usual working language.
- Autocad, Civil 3D, Revit and MS-Office.
